This is my year round go to look when I don’t feel like actually trying. Depending on the season or the occasion, I’ll swap out the flats for sandals or boots and the short sleeve shirt for a long sleeve or tank top. I think it’s all in the details when you’re wearing just a tshirt and jeans. I ADORE my newest Rocksbox pieces including this dainty gold feather necklace from Urban Gem! Rocksbox is the most amazing jewelry subscription service. Each box has three designer jewelry pieces based on your preferences (colors, metals, types, etc) and you can keep them for up to 60 days or return your box as often as you’d like for three new ones sent to you! If you fall in love with any or all of the pieces, you can buy them for 20% off the retail price! I received a 6 month subscription for free to try out, but I have loved it so much that once it expires, I will be renewing for either $15/month for a year, $17/month for six months, or $19 monthly! It’s the perfect way to constantly change up your jewelry as often as you’d like! Tshirt: Target | Jeans: American Eagle | Flats: Target (old / similar here) | Necklace: Urban Gem c/o Rocksbox

Whoever said that maxi skirts were the summer version of yoga pants…was absolutely right. I like to pretend that I’m all kinds of put together when I’m wearing one, but it’s really just comfortable and versatile. My new found way to wear is with that wonderful silk cami I raved about with a an easy top knot. Perfect for an almost rainy and super windy day that happened right after I took these pictures. #bloggerprobs
Every preppy girl loves a good critter pant or short. I’m not going to lie if I see different prints or colors, I have the urge to snatch them all up. When I saw these ankle crops at Old Navy a few months ago, I knew they would be coming home with me. I’m basically obsessed with the little lobsters. I paired it with a flowy cream peasant top and nude and white sandals. This is a great semi casual work look that still adds some color with the lobster detailing and the statement bauble.
Yellow is one of those universally “spring” colors and this dress is just so perfect for a warm day. I scooped this Lilly dress up during the sale on Rue La La and I’m in looove. It’s so comfortable and can be dressed down with Jacks or up with wedges/heels. I wore this to my baby brother’s soccer game in the morning and straight to my cousin’s babyshower in the afternoon. I honestly wish I had purchased this dress in every color because it kept me cool and it’s so adorable with the contrasting top color and patterns on the bottom! I can see me wearing this a ton for the next two seasons.
This is an effortless business casual look. I put together this look for my speaking debut (which went super well I might add!!) at our quarterly office meeting. I loved trading my heels for little white Keds a la Baby from Dirty Dancing. The real star of the show for this outfit was my newest and probably favorite DIY project ever ever, the pearl necklace with gold safety pins. I created this DIY from Honestly WTFand it was SO easy and so inexpensive (I picked up a Forever21 Pearl Necklace for $1.80!!). I’m a pearls girl, but this is just a new and chic twist on it inspired by the fabulous jewelry designer, Tom Binns. I think it’s always a great idea to take a simple outfit and punch it up with a great statement piece.
So I’ve gone from horizontal stripes yesterday to vertical ones today! This purple vertical striped chiffon top is a perfect spring to summer transition top because it’s breezy and drapey. I’m also rocking the second day waves with an eyelet bow headband. As you can see from this post especially I’ve started more working on editing. It’s become a big part of my outfit posts, dedicating the time to Photoshop. I’m loving experimenting with levels and colors and effects. My push to do this? Blogshop! Kimmie had asked me if I had heard about it and I hadn’t. I looked it up and knew I had to go (despit. Photoshop and blogging in a two day seminar in LA in June with 20-25 other people taught by Angela and Bri of AngelaandIthyle.com and Designlovefest.com respectably. I’m so excited to be able to learn so much more about Photoshop and how to apply it to miss GLAM dan. By the way, the American Eagle overload was definitely not planned haha!
If you saw on my Instagram Recap yesterday, you know I scored at the Lilly Pulitzer sale on Ruelala. These shorts were by far my favorite purchase because of the print and well, the scalloped edges of course. I wore these paired with a green tank top earlier in the day for my baby brother’s soccer game and then later for pictures with my brother going to prom and Fancy Pants’ softball game. I think they’re so perfect for spring time and thankfully they have them in more colors and prints. Also, you’re going to die when you see the sequin flat sandals I wore with this outfit, only $16!!!
When I went into American Eagle last weekend and saw this denim vest, I knew it would be a spring staple! It’s a great light wash cropped vest. It hits at the perfect point and I love how it’s paired with the robin’s egg blue jeggings. They’re so very spring. I got to wear my wonderful Jack Rogers Navajo sandals that I ordered from Ruelala for the first time too. I can’t wait to wear them and the vest over even more outfits in the coming months. I’d also like to share that for the next few weeks, my roots will be growing out as I slowly make the transition back to brunette. :)
Am I ready for summer? Yes. But am I ready for the 115 degree weather? No. Not even a bit. I’m currently reveling in the wonderfully breezy and sunny 75 degrees. This is most definitely shorts and tanks weather and I’m so pleased. Like I mentioned in my So Coral post, coral and teal are my spring staple colors. When I spotted this shirt and these floral splattered shorts, I knew they were a must. I love the tribal print on the loose flowy top and the great neon yellow piping detail down the sides. These shorts were on clearance at American Eagle and they looked awesome paired with the similarly colored top. Also, I broke out my new favorite sandals I fell in love with from the Prabal Gurung for Target collection. They look so classic with the black and silver accents. They’re so well made and I got so many surprised looks that they were from Target! What a fabulous collab with Prabal Gurung, Target! I know these will be a great summer staple for bbq’s and whatnot like the one I had on President’s Day with my fam. A new week always comes much faster than we anticipate. Thankfully this past weekend was a lot of fun. I went to help Fancy Pants practice for softball (I can’t slow pitch for crap), I got to catch up with one of close long time friends who was in town for the weekend, and yesterday I got treated to a mini Old Navy shopping spree of sorts. Everything purchased yesterday was GUESS WHAT, ON SALE! It was phenomenal to pick up some pieces that I was searching for and also a few other special ones. This shirt was one that I wanted and it’s surprise surprise, chambray at only $7!!! But I love this one because it’s short sleeve and a bit darker than my other staple one, so it will transition into spring and summer. I wanted this look to be very causal chic which was easily achieved with the plum jeans and the boots. I wanted to of course make it a little cuter, so I added the statement gem necklace in the neutral blush and gold tones.
