This look is so All American. The preppy girl inside me is obsessed with navy and stripes especially together. I’ve been on such a gray kick this spring, so I love this loose heather gray striped tee with these navy chinos. It was such a beautiful day at my baby bro’s first soccer game of this season. I’m excited to get back into my Saturday morning routine of photos of the little soccer kiddos especially in this beautiful 80 degree breezy Arizona weather! I also got my momma to take a few pictures with me. :)
There’s something so feminine and adorable about scalloped edges. I used to love using the crazy edged scissors that were scalloped, now that love has moved to clothing. I found this top hidden on the Marshall’s clearance rack for $10 and it was the perfect light flowly material. I decided to wear it to Fancy Pants’ grandmother’s 80th Birthday Dinner at the club with a cardigan and skinny jeans. But I decided to keep it even more fun with the blue jeggings earlier that day. Also, don’t forget to head over the American Eagle Project Live Your Life contest to vote for me!! :)
It’s almost a guarantee that if something has a bow on it, I’ll want it. This skirt was no different. I was shopping on Forever21.com and I saw it and died. It was the perfect neutral pencil skirt with the adorable black bow detail smack dab in the center. I’ve been waiting to wear it till I found the perfect outfit and knew a simple black long sleeve was the easiest top to pair it with. I didn’t just want the top to be blah plain with it, so I added my big bubble necklace and knew it pulled everything together. I got lots of compliments on the whole ensemble at work, so I knew I made the right choice.
There’s something perfect about the color pink, but it’s even more perfect when it’s paired with black. It’s no secret that pink is my favorite color, but sometimes I can overdue do it, I’ll admit. The LBD makes it work appropriate, but the pink tights give it the pop of color it needs! (and make it very me) It’s been getting cooler, so the tights were appropriate with the matching belt and bubble necklace. P.S. Excuse my roots, I’m getting them done on Friday!!
